I have use Savastore/Watford several times and until now it has all worked fine. However now I have a problem they are unbelievably useless. I ordered several parts over 4 weeks ago and at the time the CPU was stated as available in 1 - 2 weeks. Over 4 weeks later and still no CPU. Their customer dis-service department is a total waste of space. They seldom answer their phones and when they do you get no more information. They certainly don't answer their Emails. I think in future I'll only buy items they have in stock.

my partner ordered, early december and payed deposit for psp mega pack which was in stock when ordered,however few days later website said 1-2 weeks which was not a problem,i rang them to b told early jan or to go elsewhere,we waited to b told by email that they are not stoking them no more,was told this on 26 jan,7 weeks after first ordered and still have not received deposit, i think there customer services is disgusting and will never use them again,and advise anyone else not to,if i treated people in the same manner id have no work, very disgusted couple .london

I bought a voice recognition software package from watford electronic that arrived broken.
The cd was not just scratched it was physically broken.
Now i cant get through to them to get my product replaced.
I am considering legal action.
If enough of us club together we can take this lot to court.
I am also in talks with the trading standards in order to persue action through this means.
I agree the company is really bad and by the look of things has stolen my money.

I read these comments with interest. I am currently trying to return a faulty hard drive bought from Savastore/Watford Electronics and cannot browse to their returns page (intentional?); their customer service telephone line doesn't answer (intentional?) and I have now been waiting 5 days for a returns number in response to an email - which they claim would be answered within 24 hours and is their preferred method of communicating!!!

A supplier to be avoided!

You want to try PC World in Sheffield. The biggest bunch of knuckle-dragging fuckwits in the North. It's as if someone shaved some monkeys, put them in uniform and let them loose.

I feel SO UTTERLY STUPID by having several times shopped at Watford/Savastore and not learned my lesson.

I was going to buy a laptop from Watford Electronics - I think I'll pay a bit more and get one from Dell!

I bought a Lite-on 5045 dvd recorder from Watford/Savastore October 2005.
The dvd tray refused to stay closed. 10 e-mails, all ignored.

The customer support line (not advertised) is 0871 666 6606.

Several phone calls later and 10 days of waiting, the saga goes on. Not a great advert for them is it??

I avoided E-buyer because of bad after-sales, Watford are now on the list, even Dixons aren't this bad!!

DO NOT BUY anything from Savastore.com! They just take your money! Their customer service is absolutely useless - you can't get through to them on the phone and they don't respond to emails. AVOID WATFORD - spend a bit more money elsewhere, like Dell, it's well worth it.

Watford Electronics , Noooo Don't Do it.
This all started back in January when My Carrera PC started acting up. The help line told me about Watford buying them out and that I'd get a letter through explaining that I'd have to pay to get Watford to honour the warantee. I did all this and after £14 of phone calls finally got them to sedn an engineer out (a 7 day wait). He came and told me what I'd told them, the motherboard needed replacing. He had one with him, errr, that cheap rubbish isn't going in this PC. I'll have to get another one...

Watford are a terrible company, for two reasons; they supply shoddy goods and don't do customer service.

I purchased an Aries PC from them in December. The monitor lacked a base stand, so I had to return it.
